A Change In The Sheets

Falling in love has to be one of the greatest feelings in the world.  To be loved, sharing your love, promoting your affection in public.  The thoughts brings butterflies to my stomach.  However, when you fall out of love; it is the hardest thing to go through.  You cannot recapture the love without pain.  Your heart once was filled with joy and now you are missing so many parts of yourself.  Your heart is broken and it's on a machine fighting for its' life.

How does a person recover from a slow hand that once provided and easy touch?  I say that a person should find a song in their heart and sit back.  Love will find its' way and everything will be alright.  Give yourself plenty of hugs and kisses and do things that will make you happy.  Get yourself some bristles and make a haystack to sit in and read a good book.  Ignore those flies that hang around and bees that buzz in your ears, giving you bad advice to sting back.  If you were doing your part in the relationship and giving it your all; then knowing why he/she left is not going to bring that person back.  It should tell you that he/she was not into you and/or making it last forever; even though his/her lying lips may have stated such.  You can do better!
Do not trade your heart for worthless hugs and kisses.  Hold onto what you have and share it with a person who is willing to give you theirs.  Find out more about a person before sliding into home base.  Make sure that the person is an home run hitter and not one that strikes out at first bat.  Can he/she go the distance?  Change your sheets!   You have to know of a person expectations for a relationship before you can actually be in one.  So make others aware of how you want to be treated.  Search the eyes and watch all actions and behaviors.  Smile and hold your head up!  Every gloomy thing has a brighter element; find it!
