**Excerpt | Ch. 2**
Kay kept giving me the eye as if I was supposed to be scared. I gave a slight smile and threw my hands up. Her neck action told me that she wanted to do this. I was not dressed for this shit, but I had nothing else to lose. I was wild and almost to the point of losing control. My clothes were wet and I was still pissed about the prior incident. Traffic started moving again and I lost her in the shuffle of other vehicles. Passing through the second light, I came to a halt at the third one. Just when I thought that it was all over; I saw the big eyed, nappy headed bitch again next to me. This bitch was staring at me again. Her eyes were wide open like blinds; I guess she was looking through me trying to read me. I snatched off my seat-belt, pushed the lever in park, opened my door and ran around my vehicle.
“Bring your ass out of the car. You acting like you want to do something. We got all the space we need right here.”
I do not know why I thought she would open the door and bring her game. I guess that goes to show how nutty I am. Instead, this trick smashes the pedal and spins off damn near running me over. Getting back in my vehicle, I shifted from park to drive and as I went to press on the gas pedal the light changed. I wanted to run the light and chase after her; instead I remained motionless with a police car next to me. The remainder of my ride home was silent; while in my head there was a party going on.
