Don't Ask Don't Tell

I have been thinking about this policy of don't ask don't tell.  It is baffling to know that those men and women in the service who are homosexual cannot be themselves.  Now, I am not saying that I am for how they live or their choice in sexuality; but what I am stating is that this policy will now raise a new question.  The Supreme Courts have allowed the same sex marriage to continue in the States that recognize this as law.  Here is the question... Will those members who are serving faithfully be allowed to open up and put their significant other on their Page 2?  Will those members be able to continue on working in the field that they have chosen without ridicule?  Time has proven itself and so has history on this issue - a lot of men and women have been outcast because of their sexuality while serving in the military.

How will this effect their lives?  Does this cause for more change on this policy?  Back in September of 2012 the military have changed the policy and lifted the ban.  How true is this?  I guess time will tell once again about this policy and how the government truly feels about this ruling.  Is it too much?  Will our children who are our future know the making of how we came to be?  Will this outrageous act continue to sweep across the nations wrecking life as we once knew it?  It is a personal choice and it is all about how you live.
